If you have a Sprouter, follow the instructions of the device.
Otherwise you can use a soup plate, on which you lay a layer of simple green soybeans and submerge in 2 or 3 mm of water to cover. Cover with another shallow dish or wet towel and place in a warm place, but not in direct contact with the sun.
Twice a day you rinse them, moving them gently, throwing away the remaining water and cover with fresh water. After 3 or 4 days the sprouts will have the length of 3 – 4 cm and are ready to use.
To remove the green seed coats that are separated from the seed and too hard to be eaten, we advise you to put them in a bowl full of water. The buds sink, the integuments will float and it becomes easy to delete them. These operations should be performed with gentle movements to avoid damaging the bud.
If all the shoots are not used right away, drain them and store them in a sealed glass jar in the fridge for a few days. Before using, rinse.
