Ingredients – Serves 4
350 g vialone nano milled rice
500 g chards
1 white onion
2 cloves garlic
½ lemon juice
½ lemon zest
1 teaspoon of Appeto Virya®
1 teaspoon of trikatu Virya®
1 teaspoon of thyme
1 bay leaf
rock salt to taste
extra virgin olive oil

Method
Finely chop the onion and garlic to simmer in a little water. Carefully clean and wash the chard and cut them, then add them to the onion mix. Add the lemon juice and zest, the Appeto Virya®, the trikatu Virya®, thyme, salt and oil. Cook over low heat.
Cook the rice separately in salted water with the bay leaf.
Once the rice is cooked add the rice to the chards and continue to heat the mix of ingredients for 2 minutes, stirring constantly.
